Hey everyone this is me, Jensen, enjoying the last of the yummy sticky and tasty peanut butter! I managed to get every little bit from the bottom of the plastic jar. Check out my 'peanut butter licking' video after the important message about peanut butter below.

  • Make sure the peanut butter you give your dog is 100% natural. This is so you avoid food colourings and nasty unhealthy preservatives.
  • Check the ingredients on the back of the container to make sure. Especially check for something called Xylitol. This is highly toxic to dogs.
  • Natural peanut butter contains a balanced level of protein and carbohydrates as well as healthy fats that boost energy and stamina. Active dogs like me love it!
  • It also has omega fatty acids and has been known to reduce the bad cholesterol in dogs.

BUT

  • Don't give your dog peanut butter every day. Too much can be harmful so a few times a week is enough.
  • For small dogs a teaspoon is good and for us bigger dogs a tablespoon is perfect!
